NPA says 21 ships to berth at 3 Lagos ports
Lagos, Aug. 2026 (TBL Africa ) The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 21 ships laden with petroleum products, food items, containers and other cargo are expected to berth at the Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea and Tin Can Island ports in Lagos.
The NPA, in its Daily Shipping Position on Tuesday, said the ship would arrive between Aug. 18 and Aug. 25.
It said five of the expected vessels would carry petrol, while six would arrive with containers containing various goods.
The remaining 10 vessels are expected to berth with crude oil, aviation fuel, bulk pallets, bulk wheat, fresh fish and general cargo.
Meanwhile, the NPA said 11 ships and tanker vessels had arrived at the three ports and were waiting to berth.
The vessels are expected to discharge bulk urea, petrol, aviation fuel, diesel, alkaline, bulk wheat and fertiliser.
The authority also said 23 ships were currently discharging various cargoes at the Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea and Tin Can Island ports.
The cargoes include bulk urea, aviation fuel, general cargo, crude palm oil, containers, diesel, petrol, bulk wheat and bulk gas.
