APC Guber Primary: Hamzat, Ikuforiji, Ojelabi Storm Epe as Party Holds Key Validation Vote
The Lagos State Deputy Governor, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, on Thursday attended the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election held in Epe, Lagos State, alongside his wife, Chief (Mrs.) Oluremi Hamzat.
The exercise, which brought together major party stakeholders, was part of the process to determine the APC flag bearer ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Lagos State.
Party members participated in what was widely regarded as a validation vote for Hamzat, who has received broad endorsement within the party as a consensus candidate.
Also present at the primary election were prominent party leaders, including former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Adeyemi Sabit Ikuforiji, and the Lagos State APC Chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi, alongside other key stakeholders.
