27 vessels to arrive Lagos ports with petroleum products, food items- NPA
Lagos, Sept. 2026 (TBL Africa ) The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 27 vessels are expected to arrive at the Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea and Tin Can Island Ports in Lagos between Sept. 7 and Sept. 20.
The NPA disclosed this in its Daily Shipping Position made available on Monday.
It said 10 of the expected vessels would arrive with containers carrying various goods, while the others would carry crude oil, aviation fuel, general cargo, bulk gypsum, sugar and salt.
Meanwhile, the authority said seven ships and tanker vessels had arrived at the three ports and were waiting to berth.
The vessels are expected to berth with bulk urea, petrol and diesel.
The NPA also said 20 vessels were currently discharging various commodities at the three ports.
It listed the commodities as bulk wheat, containers, fresh fish, general cargo, bulk fertiliser, pallets, bulk urea, bulk gas and petrol.
