Otedola acquires additional N20.7bn shares in FirstHoldCo
Lagos, Aug. 2026 – Femi Otedola, the Chairman of First HoldCo Plc has acquired another 147.74 million shares worth N20.7 billion.
The shares were purchased on Aug. 14, 2026 through Calvados Global Services Limited, his investment purpose vehicle.
The latest acquisition has brought Otedola’s stake in the group to over N400 billion.
Otedola, whose ambition is to increase his ownership of the group to over 51%, has steadily built his holding in the company this year.
Recall that he bought 549.54 million worth of shares worth about N43.41 billion in May 2026, purchased additional 672.9 million shares worth N29.6 billion in June and additional 706.13 million shares worth about for N77.58 billion on July 22.
