NERC, NEMSA Inaugurate Joint Technical Committee

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) and the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA) have inaugurated a Joint Technical Committee to strengthen collaboration on technical, safety, operational, and compliance issues in the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI).

The committee is expected to improve coordination between the two agencies in carrying out their regulatory and technical oversight responsibilities, while promoting greater efficiency in the electricity sector.

The committee is co-chaired by Engr. Abu Kadiri of NERC and Engr. Haruna M. of NEMSA, who will coordinate its activities on behalf of their respective organisations. It will serve as a platform for regular engagement on key technical matters, information sharing, and joint efforts to address emerging challenges in the industry.
