9 ships laden with various commodities arrive Lagos ports — NPA

Lagos, May 2026 (TBL Africa) No fewer than nine ships have arrived Lekki, Tincan and Apapa ports in Lagos, waiting to discharge petrol, bulk fertilizer, gasoline, aviation fuel and diesel.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication “Shipping Position”on Friday in Lagos.

The document stated that 35 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected in Apapa, Lekki and Tin-Can Island ports from May 15 to May 22.
The NPA added that the expected ships contain buck wheat, containers, fresh fish, crude oil, bulk wheat, petrol, , base oil, frozen fish, bitumen, bulk sugar, bulk gypsum, bulk salt, gasoline, diesel, general cargo and containers of different goods.
It stated that 20 other ships are at the ports discharging containers, petrol, aviation fuel, crude oil, truck, diesel, cargo truck, bulk wheats, bulk urea, general cargoes, fresh fish and bitumen.
