Tompolo mourns Uduaghan
Warri(Delta), Oct.2026 (TBL Africa )Dr. Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo,
the Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd., has expressed shock over the death of former governor of Delta, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan.
Tompolo expressed the sadness in a statement on Monday by his Media Consultant, Dr. Paul Bebenimibo in Warri.
Tompolo, who is the Ibe-Ebidouwei of Ijaw land, recalled the role the former governor played in ensuring peace during the days of militancy in the Niger Delta.
He acknowledged the former governor’s support for the Presidential Amnesty Programme and pipeline surveillance job awarded during the tenure of late president Umaru Yar’Adua and former president Goodluck Jonathan.
“I receive the news of the death of Uduaghan with great shock. I was not expecting this sad news at this time.
“He will be greatly missed,” he said.
Tompolo prayed God to give the family and others the fortitude to bear the great loss.
The former governor died on Monday at the age of 71.
