NISO MD Links Productivity to Quality Management Staff Relations

Productivity in any organisation depends not only on policies, systems and technology, but also on the quality of the relationship between management and its workforce, NISO MD/CEO, Engr. Abdu Bello Mohammed, FNSE, said on Monday 31st August 2026 at the signing of NISO’s Conditions of Service (COS).

Describing the COS as a framework for fairness, consistency and professionalism, Mohammed commended the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) and Senior Staff Association of Electricity and Allied Companies (SSAEAC) for their constructive engagement. He said the document marks the beginning of a stronger and more structured phase of industrial relations at NISO.

NLC President and General Secretary of NUEE, Comrade Joe Ajaero, commended NISO management for keeping its promise to sign the document before the end of August, describing it as a jointly authored “grand norm” that should guide both management and workers.

SSAEAC President General, Engr. Chike Ben, also urged management and staff to fully respect and implement the COS.
