23 ships discharge petroleum products, others in Lagos ports – NPA

 

Lagos, May 2026 (TBL Africa) A total of 23 ships are discharging petroleum products and other commodities at Apapa, Lekki and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Tuesday in Lagos.

The NPA also said the ships were discharging petrol, aviation fuel, bulk gas, base oil, bulk urea, containers, fertiliser, general cargo, bulk wheat, trucks and frozen fish.

The 36 other ships, laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive the Lagos ports between Tuesday and May 15.
NPA added that the expected ships would bring general cargoes, bulk wheat, aviation fuel, gasoline, frozen fish, diesel, containers of different goods, condensate and petrol.
It said 10 ships had arrived at the ports and were waiting to berth with bulk urea, crude oil, bulk sugar, bulk fertilizer, bitumen, containers, general cargo and petrol.
