Lagos ports receive vessels carrying fuel, fertiliser, other goods
Lagos, May 2026 (TBL Africa) No fewer than 12 ships have arrived Lekki, Tincan and Apapa ports in Lagos, waiting to discharge petrol, bulk fertilizer, petrol, bulk area, base oil, fuel oil, gasoline, crude oil and bulk urea.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication, “Shipping Position”, a copy of which was made available on Thursday in Lagos.
The document stated that 34 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were being expected in Apapa, Lekki and Tin-Can Island ports from May 7 to May 15.
The NPA added that the expected ships contain buck wheat, containers, fresh fish, crude oil, bulk wheat, petrol, , base oil, fresh fish, bitumen, bulk sugar, gasoline, petrol, diesel, general cargo and containers of different goods.
